Frank McDermott, CPA
As founder of Eclipse Risk Insurance Services Inc., Frank McDermott, CPA, has proven himself an exceptional professional in the Home Care, Home Health Care and Hospice Insurance sector.
With an MBA from Stanford University and years of expertise as a Certified Public Accountant, Frank used his intellect and strategic insight to ascend positions throughout well-accomplished companies such as Shell Oil, Fluor Corporation, and the controller of The Irvine Company. Finally settling into the role of Chief Financial Officer at Constellation Energy West Coast, before becoming owner and partner of McDermott, Carty & Associates, LLP which specialized in construction defect litigation. Clients included Goldman Sachs, Lennar Partners, Irvine Company, Promeathus Partners, Koll Company to name a few. He eventually sold to KPMG in 2006. Frank now utilizes his financial background and business acumen to lead Eclipse Risk Insurance Services Inc. in providing the best insurance solutions in the industry.
Supported by experience working for Top 10 Insurance Companies nationwide, including notable companies such as USI Insurance and NFP, Frank made the decision to specialize in the Home Care Industry and launched Eclipse Risk Insurance Services, Inc. Dedicated to excellence, he has obtained all 21 insurance licenses needed to provide the best possible options to clients.
Outside of the office, Frank also devotes time to getting involved in varied philanthropic organizations, as well as staying active. When he is not taking a run or going for a swim, he enjoys spending a relaxed afternoon fishing, golfing, tennis and is a race horsing enthusiast.
